St Anthony’s Residential Home to COVID 19 (Coronavirus)

At St Anthony’s Residential Home, we are doing everything we can to keep our residents and staff safe. The safety of our residents of the utmost importance and is always at the heart of everything we do.

Safety of our residents:

Our main priority throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic has been to protect our residents and our staff. Because of this, we have put in place some extremely robust procedures to ensure the risk of Covid-19 for our residents and to our colleagues is minimised. All our staff at St Anthony’s Residential home have several years of experience in dealing with a wide range of sensitive cases and conditions. We would like to assure colleagues, residents, and relatives of the following:

– Our staff are tested weekly with the track and trace system.
– All the staff are also due to have the NHS National Covid 19 Antibody testing.
– Residents are being tested every 28 days with the track and trace system.

Temporary restrictions on visits:

Taking into account the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic and following the government’s advice, we request that all non-essential visits to our care homes are postponed until further notice.

We are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the optimum safety of our employees and residents, but we also rely on you to help us protect our most vulnerable residents by staying at home. We are continuing to closely monitor the government advice daily and will remove these restrictions as soon as it is safe to do so. Our home has access to the internet, phone lines, skype and WhatsApp where you can keep in touch with your loved ones at all times.
