Accommodation

The accommodation we provide is designed to make the service user feel comfortable in their surroundings.

We actively encourage residents to decorate the room with their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with most having en-suite/wet room facilities. As well as large private areas, the home has 4 lounges where residents can relax or meet with visitors.

At the rear of the house, there are large landscaped gardens where residents can sit or enjoy a spot of gardening.

Activities and Entertainment

Activities are very important to us here at St Anthony’s and we feel that keeping our residents active and entertained helps to vastly improve their overall happiness and well-being.

Our Activities Co-Ordinator comes in daily and we also have twice weekly keep fit sessions and various other entertainers visit every few weeks. We also take our residents on frequent day excursions or trips outside the home as a way of encouraging more social interaction, physical and mental stimulation.

Cuisine

Our catering staff provide a traditional and varied menu of delicious home-cooked meals, served in either our dining room, our conservatory dining area or in the residents’ own rooms if they prefer.

All specific dietary requirements and nutritional needs of service users are catered for.
